		Johan Christiaan Paulus Elisa Menso (1794-1874), my great-great-grandfather. Census Rhenen 1830/1840: Heerenstraat 96, Rhenen. Census Rhenen 1862-1872: Heerenstraat 104, Rhenen. Judge in Rhenen. 1811 "Regulateur van het regt op de successie in het 2e arrondissement van Amersfoort". 1814 "Regulateur der belasting op het regt van successie in het 2e ressort Wijk bij Duurstede". Secretary of the city of Rhenen. Secretary and "Ontvanger van den dijkstoel der Rhenense Nude en Achterbergsche Hooilanden". Member of the Provinciale Staten of Utrecht. Knight in the order of the Dutch Lion (1873).
		Hendrik Menso (1791-1872), the brother of my great-great-grandfather. Married to Berendina Wilhelmina Feith. Census Rhenen 1830/1840: Heerenstraat 83, Rhenen. Census Rhenen 1862-1872: Heerenstraat 94, Rhenen. Medical doctor in Rhenen (Stadsvroedmeester). Mayor of Rhenen 1820-1824 and 1843-1871. Alderman of the city of Rhenen, about 1824 and 1829. Member of Provinciale Staten van Utrecht on behalf of the city of Rhenen, from 18 October 1842 until 16 October 1848. Substitute judge in Rhenen, from16 September 1838. Knight in the order of the Dutch Lion (1846).
		Hendricus Menso (1827-1878), my great-grandfather. Marrried to Maria Christina van der Schooren. Child of J.C.P.E. Menso and Nelletje Hendriksen, his house maid Recognised as son of J.C.P.E. Menso on 11 October 1869. From July 1870 Captain in the Regiment Grenadiers and Guards and there Commander of the 2:nd Company of the 2:nd Bataljon. From August 1874 Major of the 4:th Infantry Regiment in Rhenen, with a year salary of 3000 guilders. Officer of the Order of the Oak Wreath of Luxembourg (1874).
		Maria Christina Menso-van der Schooren (1842-1900), my grandmother. Wife of Hendricus Menso, see above. Daughter of Johan Willem van der Schooren and Helena Catharina van Pelt.
		Johan Willem Menso (1872-1921), my grandfather. Married to Gerarda Margaretha Catharina van Maasdijk. Telephone book the Hague 1915: V225 Menso, J.W., Zwartelaan B 134c. Cashier of Voorburg.
		Johannes Christiaan Paulus Elisa Menso (1876-1957), the brother of my grandfather. Part of a drawing made by Antoon van Welie in 1916.
		Clement van Maasdijk (1885-1910), the air pionier and brother of my grandmother. He died in an accident with his air plane the day before the airshow in Arnhem, held 28-31 August 1910.
		Anna Elisabeth Jacoba Nachenius-Kehrer (1856-1938), my great-grandmother. Daughter of Benjamin Johannes Nachenius and Henrietta Elisabeth Jansen Eyken Sluyters.

		Anna van den Berg-Kehrer (1880-1958), my grandmother. Daughter of Hermann Wilhelm Kehrer and Anna Elisabeth Jacoba Nachenius (see picture above).

		Menso Johannes Menso (1904-1990), accountant. Participant of the Olympic Games of 1924 in Parijs, 400m and 800m. Participant of the Monte Carlo Rally in 1934.

		Seal stamp with 3 stone mason hammers from the Rhenen period. The stone mason hammers are originally coming from the Zwolle period, in the 16th and 17th century. Ds. Johannes Menso moved in 1687 from Zwolle to Rhenen.
