Services for Elmer W. Swenson were held Wednesday, May 30 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lindstrom with Rev George Cruys officiating.
Pallbearers were Ted Gabrielson, Ansgaard Medin, Ray Hall, Ralph Johnson, Arvid Victor and Elmer Palmquist. Interment was at Fairview Cemetery.
Elmer William Swenson was born August 9, 1903 in Lindstrom to Mr. and Mrs. August Swenson.
He married Olive C. Berggren of Forest Lake. They had 7 children.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother Burdette.
Surviving are his wife and 7 children: Robert, Donald, John, Mrs. Merle (Joyce) Nederstrom and Mrs. Charles (Peggy) Bergquist of Lindstrom, Richard of Mahtomedi and James of Coon Rapids.
Also surviving are 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren,one sister, Mrs. George Gummerson and one brother, Martin Swenson, both of Lindstrom
